Pixel Day!

Posted by Dustmasc - January 23rd, 2016

Happy Pixel day!
If you havent already check out my new game Starship: Launcher
http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/669432

You play as a starship and you launch stuff, it's pretty sweet. This initially started as a game jam game from over a year ago and I recently decided to finish and release it.

I am still working on the detective rpg but obviously I did pause for a bit to make Starship: Launcher. This whole work on multiple projects to stay motivated thing definitely seems like it's working, would recommend. However, I would not recommend Starling and Citrus engine, things I thought that should work out of the box turned into huge hassles involving far to much time researching a problem then hoping someone answers a forum post. So I'm switching the detective rpg over to haxe flixel(just like that one person said I should on an earlier post), it seems to do everything I liked about Starling but with way more documentation and tutorials and stuff. Don't worry this doesn't put detective game any further behind because I haven't done a ton of programming on it; I mostly just was making assets. I think there's even a tutorial for rpgs that would put me farther along than I was with starling which is pretty sweet. I have also done a bit of work on a super secret project that's very experimental but I'm not going to say very much about it or make any promises.
Also, go play Starship: Launcher k thx.

Was hoping to play since I've been checking out all the cool Pixel Day submissions, but it crashes every time I click on the Under Judgment play button. Using Google Chrome btw, if that helps. Thought you might want to know. :)

Hopefully this has been fixed, let me know if you have anymore problems.

On firefox here, it doesn't load and produces an error message which ironically doesn't mention what the error is.

" An error occured running the Unity content on this page. See your browser's JavaScript console for more info. The error was:
: "

Although, I could not reproduce this exact error I did fix some things so hopefully it works for you now. Thanks for letting me know!
